We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to automate and streamline our processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development and production environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery best practices.
- Manage cloud-based services (AWS, GCP) and ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in production environments.
- Work on containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Ensure security best practices in all aspects of DevOps processes, including automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform system upgrades and patch management as needed.
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
About You
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Github Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and associated services.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and Argo.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Good understanding of networking, security, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and an understanding of branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices architecture and managing services at scale.
- Familiarity with serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including tools for vulnerability scanning and compliance checks.
