About Our team
At Yardstik, the Product organization drives transformation in an historically traditional industry. Yardstik Product Managers not only advocate for our customers and our business, they also use technology as their canvas for delivering the products, features, and capabilities that help customers reduce workforce risk.
As the leader of the Risk Product Team, you will be responsible for the creation of a new category at Yardstik and within the industry. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for transformative products focused on risk reduction You will need to excel in ambiguity and complexity. You will think big and also manage details. Your product strategy will drive company-wide impact. You will work with engineering to solve complex data challenges, and influence the strategic marketing of this new category.
Responsibilities

Understand our customer- Have a deep understanding our customers and their needs and be able to clearly articulate those needs into customer problems and user goals

Understand the market - Know our market to both understand current and also anticipate future market needs. Understand our competitive landscape to know what we don’t want to do.

Prioritize for impact - Use your market and customer knowledge, data, and research to create a product vision and strategy that sets Yardstik apart and prioritize your roadmap for customer and business impact.

Think like a CEO - Think about the customer value, product market fit, resource allocation, and tradeoffs that may be necessary in order to drive results that support company goals.

Relentlessly focus on metrics - Define, obsessively track, and analyze success metrics and key performance indicators for your product. Quickly and consistently iterate to drive optimal performance.

Be a quarterback - Guide cross-functional teams to a common goal. Communicate well and often with teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
-
7+ years of product management experience

Bachelors degree
-
Have strong technical and domain expertise in SaaS
-
Have a proven track record of bringing new products to market in emerging categories

Ability to drive product marketing around new products

Experience with end-to-end product delivery

Experience building and managing a product roadmap, including analyzing and communicating tradeoffs

Experience with Aha or another product roadmap tool

Experience writing user goals, product requirements, and acceptance criteria

Strong communication skills

Compensation
At Yardstik, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, location and skills in their role. Yardstik provides the annualized compensation range of $160,000 - $230,000 for this role.
