Your Mission

As a Senior Automation Business Analyst (with SAP S/4Hana) in the CoE - Internal Automation department, your key role is to drive efficiency. With a focus on business process optimization and a deep understanding of SAP and UiPath tools, your goal is to identify areas where automation can make our operations faster and smoother. Using your know-how on SAP, automation-first mindset, and extensive business analysis expertise, you'll be instrumental in transforming how our organization operates. This vital role sits at the heart of our Automation CoE, and must be committed to driving efficiency, eliminating redundancies, and creating outstanding value for the organization.


What you'll do at UiPath

  •  Thoroughly understand and document both current and future UiPath internal business processes under consideration for automation and improvements. This includes key elements like business rules and decision points
  • Identify and evaluate potential processes that can be automated using UiPath products. This could involve assessing process readiness for automation, operational recommendations, functional feasibility, potential return on investment (ROI), and degree of impact on business operations
  • In collaboration with the technical team, design and develop optimal automation solutions by translating business requirements into clear specifications for the developers. This involves considering business objectives, user experience, system integration, and data management
  • Help create an automation pipeline to ensure the adoption of UiPath automation capabilities to drive the “automation first” strategy
  • Work effectively with UiPath internal stakeholders, IT, business process owners, and end users. This may include facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, and managing relationships to ensure that the solution meets business needs while being technically feasible. Act as a communication bridge between the CoE team and the stakeholders throughout the Automation project implementation
  • Support with solving day-to-day issues arising during automation projects with timely resolutions
  • Develop success stories and case studies from internal implementation and adoption of UiPath automation capabilities to be shared with UiPath customers
  • Participate and coordinate (if required) internal CoE team ceremonies like daily stand-up meetings, back-log items grooming, or planning sessions
  • Stay current on the latest updates in the automation industry and continually build expertise in both SAP and UiPath, on not just their applications but also their limitations, to be able to provide informed recommendations and solutions
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to transfer knowledge to users of the automated processes
  • Deliver post-implementation support, observing potential improvements or refinements in the automated process and corrective measures, if needed

 


What you'll bring to the team

  • Process Analysis: Ability to use methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes
  • Requirements Gathering: This relates to eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, mapping, modeling, and managing the needs of project stakeholders
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Ability to work with big data, derive insights, and present findings cohesively
  • SAP Knowledge: Understanding SAP features, configuration, high-level functionality, and integration methods
  • UiPath Expertise: Familiar with RPA principles, the UiPath platform, and automation tools
  • Communication: Strong written and spoken communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other important parties. The ability to translate complex, technical ideas into easy-to-understand language is essential
  • Problem-solving: The aptitude to think logically, critically, and creatively to develop solutions to business process issues and barriers to automation
  • Leadership: The aptitude to guide teams, manage conflicts, and make important decisions are key leadership qualities
  • Collaboration: Work well with diverse team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties for the project's success
  • Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in managing relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and constraints, and navigating organizational politics
  • Time Management: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to conduct work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability: The business technology landscape is constantly changing, requiring analysts to be flexible and ready to learn new tools, methodologies, and best practices.


Experience

  • Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role ( more than 5 years)
  • Extensive experience with SAP, its modules, configuration, and functionality
  • Track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, requirements gathering, and project management
  • Experience in training and knowledge transfer for users
  • Certification in business analysis, project management (like PMP, PRINCE2), or RPA could be beneficial
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics. Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with demonstrated outside-the-box problem-solving skills
  • Experience to effectively engage and work with a global team
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Experience with process reengineering 
  • Experience in Agile methodology and JIRA tool hands-on
  • Experience in applying OCR, NLP, AI/ML etc. capabilities to enhance business process and performance
