We are seeking a dedicated and seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join us on this remarkable journey.


What you'll do at UiPath

  • Leading the design and development of critical components within the cloud platform to drive end-to-end business outcomes and enhance our platform's capabilities by collaborating across teams and services
  • Acting as a technical leader, guiding and directing the efforts of development teams, both internal and external, to enhance platform capabilities, enabling other UiPath services to deliver greater business value.
  • Generating innovative ideas for new platform capabilities that infuse best practices into every UiPath service.
  • Ensuring the high availability of UiPath online services, actively participating in livesite monitoring rotations, addressing escalations, and implementing effective mitigations. You will be dedicated to minimizing live site impact and conducting comprehensive post-mortems for continuous improvement.
  • Upholding the highest standards of reliability, scalability, quality, and performance in our technical deliverables, and proactively driving architectural changes that significantly enhance these aspects.
  • Contributing to task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing to ensure effective project management.
  • Mentoring Software Engineers to facilitate their skill and knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
  • Actively participating in and influencing process improvements, promoting best practices, and playing a role in the development of new processes across the entire engineering organization.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Proven track record (6+ years’ experience) of architecting and engineering world-class, large scale, distributed commercial applications and services, and ensuring customer success.
  • Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (such as C#/C++/Java) backed by solid computer science fundamentals
  • Familiar with modern engineering practices, including agile development, CI/CD and devops. Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience with developing microservice-based HTTP applications and servers
  • Good grasp of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous, cloud programming.
  • Deep understanding of data structures & algorithms.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services development.
  • Experience working with or managing production Kubernetes infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience working with cloud providers like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc. and cloud services such as AKS, GKE, etc. is a plus
  • Experience in using database backends (e.g. Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Datalake, PowerBI, MangoDB, MSQL, or DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Experience working with identity systems (Okta, AAD, Windows AD) and identity protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and libraries like Identity Server 4/6 to build identity server components is a plus
