Your Mission

UiPath is currently seeking a highly skilled motivated Application Engineer and Integrations Specialist to join our Business Systems Team, to support the Hire to Retire process. 

This role will be responsible for enhancing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between a diverse set of SaaS systems with focus on Workday platform.

The ideal candidate has proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a global team-oriented environment, is passionate in learning and applying new technologies and will have expertise in a variety of SaaS solution toolsets (APIs, Studio) and UiPath RPA.


What you'll do at UiPath

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of Workday Integrations toolset to build, implement, test, and offer production support for various integrations.
  • Understand and analyze integration and process automation requirements across Business Systems landscape as part of the overall integrations/automations roadmap of the company by leading specific integration projects between different SaaS systems such as: Workday, NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Azure AD, Adaptive
  • Design and develop integration and automation solutions by using different technologies such as the SaaS solution toolsets (APIs, Studio) and UiPath RPA.
  • Evaluate different integration services/technologies' capabilities and the most efficient integration and automation approach for each project, whether through native toolsets or UiPath RPA, and implement the chosen solution.
  • Document integration and automation requirements, architecture & technical design, use cases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and automations issues, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor integration and automation solutions performance and make improvements as necessary to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay up to date with the lates integration and automation trends and advancements in SaaS and RPA technologies to suggest improvements and new strategies.
  • Work diligently to enhance, automate or improve business processes via integration, or as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.
  • Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management of Information Systems, or in an appropriate related field is required.
  • Over 5 years of relevant IT work experience and at least 3 years of experience with systems integration, process automations, use of APIs, ETLs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise application integrations, SOA, ESB, Web Services, Messaging Services, API Management, and other related integration concepts
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programing languages and scripts (e.g. Java, C#, JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.);
  • Advanced experience with architecting and implementing synchronous, asynchronous, batch, near real-time batch and message-based integrations.
  • Advanced experience with security consideration for integrating with internal and external/cloud systems with standards such as OpenID, 0Auth and SAML
  • Advanced understanding of various non-functional aspects of integrations such as performance, reliability, scalability, availability, privacy, legal compliance, etc.
  • Database skills and experience manipulating databases, database objects.
  • Passionate in learning new technologies – with the ability to apply them.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to break complex problems down into simple elements and to tackle them logically.
  • Highly self-motivated and proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a global team-oriented environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to execute and see tasks to conclusion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and keen attention to detail
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, fluency in any other languages is a plus.
