Position Summary
We are looking for a strong, customer-centric, and highly resourceful Product Manager to rapidly build and iterate solutions that help users to adopt Harness’ best-in-class developer products. You will be responsible for transforming Harness' implementation offerings into a productized foundation for all Harness implementations, formalizing the onboarding experience for all Harness customers. This role will sit within the Implementation Engineering team. Shape the future of product delivery and adoption while crafting solutions that enhance and optimize customer experiences.
Solution Factory is automation that establishes factory processes in customer accounts to implement the Harness platform and RBAC, following best practices. This enables quick adoption of key features from Harness modules, supports scaling to provide templates to hundreds of developers, and includes the necessary guardrails for enterprise-wide implementation. This role will report to the leader of Implementation Engineering.
About the Role
- Collaborate with the implementation engineering team to develop Automation suits that standardize implementation of Harness Platform and Modules for our customers to have best in class experience in adopting Software delivery platform.
- Become an expert in Harness’ critical modules and understand the path to adoption well.
- Oversee the complete product delivery process, including: Gathering requirements, Managing dependencies, Operationalizing products, Reporting on product performance
- Identify opportunities to enhance product/process efficiencies and improve coordination among teams.
- Shape and manage templatized implementation timelines and standards.
- Develop automation to deliver your product to end users seamlessly at scale, reducing manual toil during onboarding.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and resources to support customers and internal teams in effectively evangelizing the implementation engineering offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gather feedback, understand current and future needs, and translate insights into product enhancements.
About You
- 3-5+ years of product management experience, ideally in developer tooling, DevOps, or related software industries.
- Understanding of software development processes, CI/CD practices, and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience overseeing the development of technical software products from their initial stages to full-scale deployment.
- Experience designing and building internal or external products in a DevOps environment.
- Strong foundation in technical skills and DevOps software.
- Familiarity with the complete DevOps lifecycle and effective implementation strategies.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
