About Epoch
Epoch is an employee experience platform that helps companies create meaningful culture for all employees. We unify employee programs, internal comms, and engagement into one platform.
Leaders at Reddit, Salesforce, DataDog, and Workday use Epoch to enable their culture, learning, and engagement programs. We're growing fast and need someone who can own customer relationships, drive retention and expansion, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
What we offer
An opportunity to join a growing startup where your contributions directly impact our customers and the company’s success. You’ll work with a collaborative, passionate, and high-performing team dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences.
👩💻 Who you are
We're looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager who's done this before: managing a book of mid-market and enterprise accounts, driving renewals and expansions, and building strategic relationships without needing constant direction.
This isn't a junior role. You'll own ~20 accounts (~$1M ARR) from day one and be responsible for the full customer lifecycle - onboarding, adoption, renewals, and growth. You know how to navigate complex stakeholder environments, build compelling business cases, and drive outcomes independently.
What You Bring
Independent executor — you set priorities, manage your time, and deliver results without needing oversight
Strategic thinker — you understand business value, can build compelling narratives, and influence stakeholders
Revenue-focused — you've closed renewals and driven expansions; you can point to specific examples with $ impact
Low-maintenance — you know when to escalate and when to solve problems yourself
Data-driven — you use metrics and customer insights to inform your account strategy
Willingness to travel — you’’ll be expected to travel/fly to visit client sites when needed to expand accounts and maintain relationships
Experience:
2-4 years in Customer Success or Account Management at a B2B SaaS company
Track record managing $500K-$1M+ in ARR
Proven success with renewals and expansions (we'll ask for examples)
Comfortable with CRM systems, data tools, and customer engagement platforms
🙌 What you will do
Own the full customer lifecycle for ~20+ accounts: onboarding, adoption, renewals, expansion
Drive revenue outcomes: identify upsell opportunities, navigate renewals, and build strategic account plans
Build relationships: maintain strategic partnerships with HR leaders, IT teams, and executive sponsors.
Use data to inform strategy: create QBRs, analyze engagement metrics, and proactively address churn risks
Act as voice of customer: share insights with product, engineering, and sales to inform roadmap and GTM strategy
🌱How you'll grow
Own meaningful accounts: Build strategic relationships with companies like Reddit, Danone, and Datadog
Shape the CS playbook: Contribute to how we scale customer success as an early CS team member
Work cross-functionally: Partner directly with product, engineering, and sales on high-impact initiatives
Grow with the company: Clear path to expand scope and responsibility as we scale
➕ Compensation & Benefits
$68K-$78K CAD base salary + commission on renewals/expansions
Equity: Stock options for 500 preferred stock
Remote-first (Canada preferred: Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto GTA, Greater Vancouver Area)
Full benefits: dental, eyecare, medical prescriptions
Full-time role reporting to COO
Expected start: Early-Mid May 2026
