WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Workplace Experience professional to oversee workplace operations in the EMEA region. This individual will help inform the global strategic vision for Workplace Operations, work closely with cross-functional partners and lead their team to ensure best-in-class workplace experience.

The Workplace Experience team is looking for builders--people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and can create structure in ambiguity. This role sits on the People Team and will report to the Senior Manager, Global Real Estate and will be integral in driving the development of employee experience as it relates to workplaces.

You will have a consistent pulse on the needs of our employees in EMEA and be comfortable changing course as global conditions and working environments evolve.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee workplace operations and programs in the EMEA region, ensuring successful day-to-day operations
  • Lead Workplace Operations KPI and SLA success, ensuring best-in-class customer service and service levels
  • Lead, mentor and develop regional Workplace Operations team
  • Sit on Workplace Experience Leadership Team, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and drive team OKRs
  • Collaborate with others to develop and manage initiatives, processes, tools, policies and playbooks related to workplace operations and programs, including operations related to our new hybrid work strategy
  • Partner and develop strong relationships with all key business partners e.g. EMEA General Managers, IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Employee Experience, etc. and act as trusted advisor in workplace matters
  • Collaborate closely with Braze Employee Experience to ensure all events are supported and executed to the highest standard
  • Proactively build relationships with leadership and employees, as well as use data to understand the habits and needs of EMEA employees and objectively provide recommendations for workplace improvements
  • Work with customer service mindset to ensure world-class standards and service levels for all EMEA employees
  • Ensure we have the best in class suppliers for our offices and implement vendor management best practices with a lens towards diversity and inclusion. Proactively partner with key vendors to ensure continued service improvement.
  • Work with the wider People Team to coordinate internal events including office parties, company all hands, and industry meetups
  • Oversee budget management and tracking for EMEA operations
  • Manage H&S program, including the creation and maintenance of H&S policies, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring the adequate number of employees are sufficiently trained on first aid and fire marshaling.
  • Have a strong technical mindset, with an understanding of how technology integrates within the workspace
  • Support regional office improvements and small build-out projects, as needed

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in Workplace Experience and/or facilities management; experience with multiple locations a plus
  • At least 2 years experience leading a team; experience leading outsourced staff a plus
  • Experience managing offices and workplace experience for a hybrid workplace model, delivering creative solutions to engage a distributed workforce
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong experience with office moves and build-outs
  • Data-driven with a mindset of continual improvement
  • Strong strategic communications and change management skills
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships cross-functionally with proven ability in influencing top-level leadership
  • A strong communicator, keeping teams and stakeholders informed and up to date
  • Proven understanding of workplace related costs and budget best practices
  • Passion for best-in-class workplace experience and customer service
  • An awesome can-do attitude - no task is too big or too small
  • Familiar with Mac computer and GSuite
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
  • Ability to travel around 25% (company and local guidelines permitting)
