PieEye is seeking a talented individual who has infinite curiosity. You'll partner with our head of engineering to create groundbreaking Machine Learning technology and interfaces. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of Data Privacy!
Responsibilities
Report directly to our head of technology.
Work at backend levels of the stack, Java, Nodejs, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker.
Take full ownership and responsibility for building shipping, and maintaining core PieEye features, end to end.
Taking a thoughtful approach to decision making; balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
Work with AWS.
Commitment to high quality, asynchronous communication on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
1+ years of total engineering experience
Knowledge in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, object-oriented programming, modern software paradigms, and development best practices
Ability to work autonomously and learn independently
Basic understanding of AWS
Familiar with Spring framework
Have Java or NodeJs experience.
Flexible and focussed on solutions
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Organized and self-sufficient
Previous work experience with startups
